In addition, Far East Cable also participated in the drafting of the group standards for the evaluation requirements of five "Front-runner", including 220KV-500kV ultra-high voltage cross-linked cables, photovoltaic cables, flame retardant and fire-resistant cables, which provided the evaluation basis for the third-party evaluation institutions and made positive contributions to the evaluation of the enterprise standard "Front-runner".
All the time, the state has always vigorously supported the enterprise standard "pacesetter" system, and actively set up the industry benchmark. In 2017, the Central Committee of the COMMUNIST Party of China (CPC) and The State Council issued the Guiding Opinions on Launching Quality Improvement Actions, proposing the implementation of the enterprise standard "pacesetter" system, so as to strengthen the standard leadership of enterprises, set up industry benchmarking, and promote overall quality improvement.
In 2018, the State Administration for Market Regulation and other eight departments jointly issued the Opinions on the Implementation of the "Front-runner" System for Enterprise Standards, explicitly requiring the evaluation results of the "Front-runner" for enterprise standards to be relied on in the selection of standards innovation contribution Awards, quality awards for governments at all levels, and brand value evaluation. Encourage the government to purchase and choose the enterprise standard "leader" in line with the relevant standards of products or services under the same conditions!
On October 10, 2021, CPC Central Committee and State Council issued the Outline for the Development of National Standardization, requiring all regions and departments to earnestly implement it in light of actual conditions, clarifying the implementation of the "pacesetter" system for enterprise standards in China, and starting a new journey for the development of standardization in China.
On October 26, 2021, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Standardization Administration jointly issued the Action Plan on Standardization for The High-quality Development of Private Economy (2022-2023), encouraging enterprises to actively carry out standardization good practices and take an active part in enterprise standards "pace-setter" and standards-matching activities.
